2. Legal Document Assistant Scope

A registered Legal Document Assistant (LDA) may prepare legal documents at the specific direction of a person representing themselves. An LDA cannot provide legal advice or select forms or strategy for you.

3. You Represent Yourself

You are the self-represented party. You are responsible for deciding what to file, reviewing your documents, signing, filing, meeting deadlines, and tracking your own case.

4. Service Fees vs. Court Costs

Published prices are document-preparation service fees only. Court filing fees, recording fees, Secretary of State fees, and other third-party costs are separate and paid directly by you to the court or provider.

5. No Guarantee

We review documents for completeness and consistency. We do not guarantee acceptance by any court or agency or any particular outcome. Later court or agency steps may still be required after our document-preparation work is complete.

6. Registration and Bonding

Ven Document Services LLC is a registered Legal Document Assistant in San Bernardino County (No. 0468) and carries a $25,000 LDA bond in each of the five counties it serves: Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Riverside, Orange, and San Diego.

7. Controlling Language

This website may be made available in other languages for convenience. If there is any difference between a translated version and the original English version, the English version controls.
